We are very pleased to be opertating both a Beer Tent and Food Garden and this years Milton Fall Fair.
- The first County fair held in October 1854 on Martin Street behind what is now the Millside Restaurant – the Society boasted 100 members and In 2003, the 150th Milton Fall Fair was celebrated with special events such as a baby show, a Decorated Bale contest, and a Commemorative Fair Poster, along with their regular events.
- Today, the Milton Fair is a 3-day event and continues to be staged on the weekend of the 4th Saturday in September.
We are looking for Optimist Club Members as well as friends and relatives of members to vlunteer for this very special event.
This will be both a huge opprtunity to raise money for uour youth programs and to show Milton how GREAT The Optimist Club is at Giving Back to the Town of Milton.
We need YOUR HELP for Set Up on Thursday Afternoon and the following dates and times:
Fall Fair
o Dates Friday Sept 23rd to Sunday Sept 25th
o Hours of operation
§ Friday 3pm till midnight
§ Saturday 8am till midnight
§ Sunday 8am till 6pm
o We are running Beer & Wine Garden
o Also operating Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Food Service
o Looking for everyone to give us at least 2 four hour long shifts.
