The Optimist Club of Milton cordially invites our fellow service clubs to join us for an information session about a local charity that needs our collective support: The Lighthouse For Grieving Children.
Based in Oakville, the Lighthouse supports children, teen, and their adults after a death in their family. The Lighthouse is the only agency of its kind that offers open-ended support to our local families from Oakville, Milton, Burlington, and Mississauga and beyond, and is bursting at the seams.
The Optimist Club of Milton have supported the Lighthouse for the past 2 years through our Annual Camel Race. While we can only do so much as an individual club that supports many causes, we can achieve a whole lot more if we pool our resources and support the Lighthouse jointly.
The Optimist Club of Milton and The Lighthouse Team cordially invite you to find out more about the Lighthouse, their plans to grow and support an increasingly larger group of families, and explore opportunities for your support over the next years.
