Milton Remembrance Day Parade

Please join me as The Optimist Club of Milton is honored to again this year March in the Milton Rememberance Parade. 

The Milton branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 136, will celebrate Remembrance Day by holding its annual parade and ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 6th. 

The parade will march from the Legion building at 21 Charles St. to the Victoria Park Cenotaph, where there will be a ceremony.

“The outpouring of comradeship you feel during the services at the cenotaph are extremely moving, “We are remembering not only those that fought in the world wars, but also those that fought in all the wars and in peacekeeping.  We must never forget.  It is everyone’s responsibility to remember those that served and to honour those that serve today and those that will in the future.”
